Whether you’re a beginner or an artist looking to build your skills, my aim is to help you reach your goals, with a combination of lessons, one-on-one support, and inspiration.

I offer online tuition and mentoring for drawing and painting in classical techniques specializing in figurative art.

I’ll take you through the steps of learning to “see” your subject as it is so you can render it more realistically.

Through drawing, you will learn a simplified path to build upon your understanding of light, shadow and form, before you dive into colour. Once you’ve mastered light, shadow and form we can dip our brushes into the world of painting.

With a limited palette, less is more.

Working in oils, I’ll show you the advantage and power of working with a limited palette.

Colour is a challenging illusion to master. You’ll be guided through colour mixing and matching to achieve the best results.

Before we start on your journey of artistic development, we’ll discuss what your aims are and review your current work to see how you can be best assisted.
