Abstract Paintings
Many things are abstracted to a degree. But what then when starting from a point of pure abstraction, something almost recognizable starts to coalesce from the chaos and form starts to manifest? We can all say that it is a subjective perception. Then is not everything we perceive an abstraction of what is?
That is the part that has long fascinated me, is how our minds interpret our perceptions. There are things that appear to be almost universally people will arrive at the same interpretation. These universal symbols, archetypes, underpin the shared accepted perceptions of reality.
