Grass Tree (Xanthorrhoea)
Finding inspiration in the Australian bush comes easy. In this photo I am inspecting a living fossil, a grass tree (Xanthorrhoea) one of the first flowing plants. This particular specimen would be many hundreds of years old. That’s me next to it looking at the interesting patterns on the trunk.
