The Muse – material rework
The Muse (work in progress)
Work is still progressing with my painting, “The Muse“.
Sometimes you have to mess things up to make progress. I wasn’t happy with the folds in the cloth, so I have taken to it with some bold strokes. Sometimes it is rather pleasing to rework the things I have laboured so long over. It can be quite cathartic.
The following photo is where I finished up last night with the painting, and where I will begin now today. You can see the difference already.
