Today Dennis Konstantin, Karl Person and I drove all the way from Berlin to Vienna. Dennis and I are exhibiting with a selection of 11 artists from the Fantastic Art movement, this September in Austria at Galerie 10.
The Sacred Art exhibition, organized by the Society for the Art of Imagination, has opened in Bavaria. Included in the group show, is my painting “Manifest”.
Time to finally write about exhibition opening in Barmstedt at Galerie III with Anja Brinkmann and Micha Krebs. The show went off nicely with a slew of articles in the local press.
After a hiatus it is time to exhibit again. First is a group show with Anja Brinkmann and Micha Krebs just outside of Hamburg. The next will be with the Society for the Art of Imagination. The show is called Sacred Art.
Boom Festival 2008 is shaping up to be a very potent mix for Visionary arts. The epicentre for this can be found at the Liminal Village where a number of events and activities will take place. I’m looking forward to attending the festival for a number or reasons.
After all of this time getting to know Delvin over email and Skype chat sessions, I would finally get to meet him face to face. He was making his way to England to meet with Brigid Marlin of the Society for the Art of Imagination (AOI) to discuss assisting them with their Inscape magazine. I was very happy to offer him a place to stay in my studio while on his travels.
The day draws near when I fly to Japan with Luigi La Sparenza and Anja Brinkmann, where Luigi and I will be participating in the International Fantastic Art Association annual group exhibition. I feel honoured that the director Shoji Tanaka has extended this wonderful invitation to us.
